This project seeks to answer those questions with sentences composed from the two works, in the exquisite corpse tradition. 1,021 sentences to be precise, in honour of the year Murasaki Shikibu finished The Tale of Genji. Using as source text the public domain works from Project Gutenburg, the Genji translation by Suematsu Kenchio is paired with the John Ormsby translation of Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quijote de la Mancha. Musical accompaniment by Mulberry Harbour.
